Below you'll find a curated list of common questions. Should you have a question not listed, feel free to reach out to me anytime.
Every sofa frame I sell has been thoroughly inspected for any potential damage. I do not sell any sofas with damage to the frame, and encourage thorough frame inspection upon delivery/in-person visit. Sofa repairs may be done to sofas with minimal damage. These repairs include, but are not limited to, spring replacement, wood frame repair/replacement, leg replacement, frame reinforcement, etc.
Although the fabric slipcovers are brand-new on every sofa I sell, cosmetic wear to the sofa frame's batting (underneath the slipcover) may be present. If a sofa was previously housed with an animal, small amounts of pet hair may remain underneath the frame batting, or under any cushion slipcovers. Although I thoroughly clean all sofas, I cannot completely remove signs of its past life, and would highly encourage coming in-person to inspect any sofa frame if you're curious of its condition. Any photos of a sofa's frame or springs, as well as a detailed report of the sofa's history (where and who it came from) are available upon request.
I pride myself in honesty and transparency, and if a sofa is sold with a genuine defect that I, nor the customer, was aware of until after a sale is made, do not hesitate to reach out to me directly, as I'm happy to make things right.
Sofa payments can be processed through Zelle, Venmo, or Cash. Payment is only made once the sofa is delivered and in your home, and you are fully satisfied with it. No deposits are required.
In order to keep prices low and fair, I have opted out of accepting Credit Cards.
Returns/exchanges can be requested and accepted by a case-by-case basis. If you're truly unhappy with your purchase, I will do my best to make things right, but I reserve the right to deny any return requests if the request is deemed unreasonable. I encourage seeing the sofa in-person prior to purchasing, to ensure it's a good fit for you.
The EKTORP and UPPLAND are practically identical sofas, with key differences that discern them both. First, the UPPLAND is slightly larger all around. It sits a bit deeper, and taller if that's your jam. Second, the EKTORP has reversible bottom cushions, while the UPPLAND does not, which might be a deal-breaker for those with pets or kids. Overall, they're very similar, and their differences are a matter of personal taste. Should you have any further questions about their unique qualities, feel free to reach out.
